Gaz's boys stroll into round 6
Our Senior team where in top form this weekend as they put six past Mount Merrion from the Leinster Senior Division. Despite the poor conditions there was some excellent ball control by the lads and a hattrick from Tommo Carroll too. The draw for round 6 will be eagerly awaited and hopefully we can get another home draw.

The first team hit the road to Mountmellick in the Leinster Junior Cup on Sunday. We don't know a whole lot about the opposition but the gaffer will have done his homework and we will be expecting a tough challenge. We are going along nicely in the cups at the moment so let's keep the momentum going. All the kids teams are going along nicely too with most topping their divisions or in second place so lets keep up the good work this weekend.

The 'HIll end Baldoyle's unbeaten run
Sandyhill ended baldoyle's unbeaten run in Premier A thanks to a first half penalty converted by skipper Keith Gavin. We looked a much better side in the first half and deseverdly took the lead. Baldoyle throuugh everything at us in the second half and although there where one or two shaky moments it was a well deserved three points.

Sandyhill 0-1 Ballymun United |
Sandyhill 0-1 Ballymun United
Barry Kavanagh got the all important goal from a free kick in the 41st minute. Although the 'Hill dominated a lot of the second half we did'nt really look like penetrating the Ballymun defence but in fairness to the lads they gave it everything they had. A good sporting and tough game with the Mun, as usual, and we will look forward to the rematch later in the season.
